Welcome to Chapter House! Both P.E.O. and community groups are welcome to hold meetings and celebrations here. Our rental rates are affordable, our wooded park-like setting is inspirational and our event spaces are charming.
P.E.O. Chapters, groups and committees and other organizations will enjoy meeting in our library, which can easily seat 30 with rows of folding chairs, or 6 to 8 can meet around the conference table.
Our dining room area can seat 48 at tables of four, with room for a head table of four to six. Restrooms are down the hall. It is ideal for BIL parties, small anniversary, retirement and engagement parties. Small weddings have been held here, with the ceremony in our living room and dinner served following the service.
Outside, the meadow by the pond can hold a large event tent or rows of folding chairs and our carport can easily be converted for picnic tables or even a dance floor!
The cost is $25 per use of the library or the dining room for P.E.O- associated groups and $40 for others. Combined rental for both areas includes our gracious living room situated in between and is $100 for Sisters and $150 for others. Parking is included in our off-street parking lot, with overflow parking on the street. Use of the entire facility and grounds is available at starting at $350 for P.E.O.s and $500 for other groups.
We Cater or BYO
Coffee, hot tea and ice water are provided with library or dining room use. Groups may bring their own snacks, have the event catered by an outside caterer or make arrangements with Chapter House for snacks or meals at an additional cost.
For groups wishing to join us for lunch, which we call dinner and is served at 12:30 p.m., the regular residents' menu is extended to all, rather than a special menu. Your group will enjoy our main meal of the day of whatever the menu plan is for that week.
The dinner cost is $12.50 per person for P.E.O. groups and $15 for others. Residents' guests are $12.50. This does not include gratuity, which is at the discretion of the group and is not required. A headcount for luncheon/dinner groups is required by the Thursday prior to the week of the visit.
Our evening supper is $8 per person for P.E.O.s and residents' guests and $11 for others, when eating the same light supper prepared for our residents.
Special menus may be requested and a dollar amount per person will be calculated in advance for approval, or you may request menu suggestions for a required budget amount.
